Other Volunteer Opportunities

RSVP+ Northeast is looking for male volunteers interested in leading a men's group at a local assisted living facility and friendly visiting with veterans.  The men's group will meet weekly and the schedule is flexible.  Friendly visiting can be done at any time throughout the day.  Contact RSVP+ Northeast at 701-787-0043 or kurtis.shelton@ndsu.edu for more information.

NEIGHBOR 2 NEIGHBOR: A collaborative effort has begun among a group of area agencies and organizations to bring our community together into one big neighborhood.  We would like your help. Community members and families with skills and time are connected with individuals and families with needs.   The activities could range from lawn mowing and snow shoveling to plumbing and minor home repair.

RSVP+ NE is looking for mentors.The Grand Forks Housing Autority is taking part in the Amachi Mentoring Coaltion. Be a positive role model in the life of a child. One hour a week. For more information contact Lynnell Popowski at 701-231-5655 or by eamil at Lynnell.Popowski@ndsu.edu
